to be more specific, Poll Everywhere is a website u can make up a variety of question or questions to ask people. They either have to go to your page or text a number to send the results and then poll everywhere will show you what answers you have received. Wordle is a website where u can put information in and get a image with the words on them . The more you repeat the word the bigger the word will be on the image of words.
Also on my page is ISTE, which is in my links. It is a website that helps teachers and students express creative ways on teaching learning things.
Activity:
Since i am going into mathemtaics education. I would use the tools to help memorize formulas or vocabulary they would need to know for a test or quiz. I would list them from the ones used most to the ones that are used only one or two times.
These website i feel would be EXCELLENT to use for classroom use ! It will get students more involved with technology and learning new was to study and collect data from outside sources. I would use this in my own class room!

I totally agree with you. It is really nice that you want to be a math teacher. That is a serious a gift. But when I was reading I was imagining me being in your classroom. It would be really dope if I could take a quiz with poll everywhere! Good idea!

ReplyDeleteI like your idea on how you'd use them in the classroom. I think that using Wordle to help kids with memorization and vocab would be fun. The kids would be learning without knowing that they are learning.
